About us
Photographer, storyteller, and the face of this website. Signed prints and official publications from the photographer, from five decades behind the camera.
Govert de Roos is the photographer behind every image on govertderoos.com. His signed fine art prints and official publications, including the book Alles André Hazes, are his own work, captured over decades of collaboration with artists and legends.
Govert signs each print personally. The photographs are made on demand; nothing is mass-produced. You order directly from the source: the photographer and his webshop.
Orders, shipping, and customer service are handled by Govert's son Jerom de Roos, through Webshop de Roos (trade name of Jero Media). When you contact us, Jerom is usually the person who replies, by email from webshopderoos@gmail.com or via the contact form.
You browse and add items on this website. Checkout is handled securely via Shopify (iDEAL and card payments). Prints are made on demand, personally signed by Govert de Roos, and shipped from the Netherlands. For questions about your order, use our contact form or email webshopderoos@gmail.com.
If you buy a picture, a frame is only included with the smallest size due to high risk of damage during shipping. With bigger sizes, we can only offer a frame if it is personally picked up or delivered by hand within the Netherlands. Please note it also comes with extra costs depending on the size.
We do, but they are made to custom order. If you want a frame included, please contact us and we will manually invoice you after mutual agreement.
We accept returns of defective and non-defective products in new or lightly used condition, by post. Return postage is generally at your expense unless the item was damaged or incorrectly delivered. Refunds are processed within 10 days of receiving your return. See our refund policy for full details. EU consumers also have a statutory 14-day withdrawal right.
Cancelling an order is possible as long as you contact us on the same day. If the package is already shipped, we cannot cancel the order and we have to go through the return process mentioned above.
We never send products in a damaged state; however, it can still happen during delivery. We manage every case individually. For books, in case of damage we kindly ask you to return the product so we can send you a replacement. In the Netherlands the delivery cost will be on us.
